Logistics and Transport Services to the Aviation Industry Case Study

Circle Express have been providing logistical & transport services to the aviation industry for nearly 40 years. Some of the world’s leading airlines and their suppliers utilise our strategic locations, experience and knowledge to ensure they have the right partner in place.

We are currently working to re-engineer the method of handling and then replacing aircraft tyres for two major UK airlines at the two busiest UK airports. Their challenge to Circle Express was to provide the ability to stock various tyres in a coded environment so that detailed inventory was available for all parties. In addition and in line with safety protocols, we had to collect and replenish within set timescales and all services had to be provided 24/7, for obvious reasons.

We accepted this challenge and not only have Circle Express met the expectations, we have exceeded them. Through working with our customers and creating a dedicated process with the Circle systems our customers now have an efficient and cost effective solution. Built into this are safe and secure warehousing, inventory control and transport options to meet almost every eventuality ensuring the airlines that their planes will not be “OffNet” unnecessarily.
